    Ingredients

    Steak Bites

    • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • Salt and black pepper to taste
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 5 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

    Serving

    • Steamed broccoli
    • Cauliflower rice
    • Fresh lemon wedges

    Instructions

    Preparing the Steak Bites

    1. Season the steak cubes with salt and black pepper.
    2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
    3. Add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring, allowing them to sear.
    4. Flip the steak cubes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
    5. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.

    Making the Garlic Butter Sauce

    1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter.
    2. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
    3. Stir in the dried thyme and dried rosemary. Cook for an additional 1 minute.
    4. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly with the garlic butter sauce.
    5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.

    Serving the Steak Bites

    1. Serve the steak bites with steamed broccoli and cauliflower rice.
    2. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges for a burst of citrus flavor.

    Tips and Tricks

    Cooking the Steak

For the best sear, ensure your skillet is hot before adding the steak cubes and avoid overcrowding the pan.
